The spacious classrooms have natural light, airy, high ceilings, and complete kitchen facilities. All rooms open onto the school playground to the west and onto a covered, protected patio area, including an outdoor stage, to the east.

The Yocha-De-He School Library has a southwest exposure designed to admit plenty of natural light. The Rumsey Community Center Library and the Yocha-De-He School Library together provide a collection of 3,000 books, tapes, and magazines.

The school playground features an all-weather track, an obstacle course, and play structures for each age group. The community facilities include a large community playground, athletic fields for soccer and softball, and a multi-use sport court. Students take advantage of the community swimming pool for weekly swimming lessons. A fitness room is available for older students to use free weights and stationary machines.
