Over the years, the Rumsey Band of Wintun Indians has developed several compacts or agreements.

Their Compact with the State of California governs gambling operations and sharing of revenues with the State. They have signed an agreement with Yolo County concerning distribution of mitigation funds, and also work closely with the County on other issues of mutual interest. There is a mutual aid agreement between the Rumsey Rancheria Fire Department and the local volunteer fire departments.

As the tribal enterprises continue to grow and prosper, additional relationships may develop.
