Rumsey Rancheria Fire Department is a division under the Tribal Government which is a sovereign nation offering a wide variety of benefits to its employees in an effort to be competitive through out the industry.
Benefits for Fire/Life Safety Employees:
- Retirement Plan – Private 3% at age 50 program, 100% employer paid, Five-Year vesting period.
- Employees participate in social security.
- Employer sponsored 401(k) Program. Voluntary participation.
- Health, Dental, Vision Plan – Employer paid
- Life Insurance – Amount equal to three times the employee’s annual salary
- Vacation Accrual – 14 hours per month
- Sick Leave – 11.2 hours per month

- Tuition Reimbursement $750.00 per year maximum
